Focus and Scope

General Description

The Scientific Annals of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi. Communication Sciences is the journal of the Chair of Communicatin Sciences and Public Relations , Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University, Iasi.

Frequency

It was founded in 2008 and comes out once a year at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University Press, Iasi.

Editorial policy

We publish original articles and book reviews in communication sciences. We only publish articles that have not been published before. Republication of an already published article is possible only in exceptional cases.

Texts can be written in English, French and Romanian.

Any opinions expressed in the articles belong to the authors and do not represent the point of view of the publishers, editors, or members of the editorial board.

Distribution

The journal is distributed nationally, amongst various university libraries. .The journal is available free of charge in its electronic format on Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences’ website: http://anale.fssp.uaic.ro/

Author’s rights

All rights remain with the authors. Authors retain the right to republish their articles, in original or in a changed form, with a note about the fact that they were first published in our journal.

Peer Review Process

  Manuscripts are refereed by two anonymous reviewers. The refereeing process may take at most three months and authors will be informed about the results of the evaluation. Authors may be asked to make some changes in their texts.

Also, authors must follow all the technical recommendations suggested by the editorial board.

In order to ensure the peer review process, the authors are asked to send the article in two copies, of which one without any identification data and without any information regarding the article`s author.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
